Samsung Electronics Introduces New Workgroup Color Laser Printer For Medium-To-Corporate Size Businesses

Samsung Electronics America, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Corporation, today introduced the CLP-770ND, a Color Laser Network-Ready/Duplex Printer for medium-to-corporate size workplaces. With duplex printing, large volume output and low printing cost per page, the CLP-770ND is available June 16 through Samsung’s network of Authorized Resellers and Dealers at an estimated street price of $999.99.

PERFORMANCE & EFFICENCY

The CLP-770ND is geared towards medium-to-corporate size workplaces that require high volume printing, up to 33 pages per minute in either color or black and white, while providing continuous, hassle-free operation with a robust 120,000 page monthly duty cycle.

Reducing operational cost is at the core of all Samsung printers, the CLP-770ND can print from 9.3 cents per page in color and 1.8 cents per page in black and white. Samsung toner cartridges yield up to 7,000 pages in all colors and the estimated street for color is $174.99 while black and white is $124.99.

FLEXIBILITY & SECURITY

Its integrated automatic duplex printing feature reduces paper, enables businesses to cut costs and paper waste in half. Additional paper handling capacity can expand from 500 to 1,600 sheets and is capable of handing a number of paper stocks, such as extra thick and transparencies, for true versatility.

The CLP-770ND can quickly connect to any network environment and installation is an easy three-click process. For heavy network printing demands, the powerful 800 MHz CPU, 256MB of memory (expandable to 768MB), and PCL and PS3 emulation help alleviate bottlenecks resulting in increased performance and office efficiencies. The optional 80GB Hard Drive option allows businesses to print securely and efficiently enabling encryption and form printing.
